About Me

Jacob Corbo is an LA-based gaffer with a passion for working with lighting instruments to create compelling images and tell impactful stories. Corbo has a passion for creating “worlds” with lighting so that a director and DP can play around in a time forever. Corbo transplanted to LA in 2026 after working in the Denver film industry for 2 years to pursue working on more narrative projects. He graduated from the Colorado Film School and in 2023 he worked at Lighting Services Inc. , the local lamp dock. He has been working on set for commercial, documentary, and narrative projects. Corbo is enthusiastic to be on set, a problem solver, and loves meeting new people, he is available!
